The open public network MiFi was created to increase access to the Internet for residents and guests of Shymkent.
The network is represented in the busiest and most socially significant areas of our beloved city.
The network has no restrictions on the duration of the connection and the availability of sources and is provided free of charge.
The technical support was developed and implemented by the Scientific and Technical Center of Miras University.
The initiators of the project express their deep gratitude for the support and assistance of the city akim, Gabit Abdimazhitovich Syzdykbekov.

Shymkent got free Wi-Fi on one of its central streets.

As part of the project to create free Wi-Fi in the city of Shymkent, Gani Ilyaev Street has been successfully connected from buildings 1 to 10. This is the first stage of the initiative aimed at increasing the availability and quality of Internet services for residents and guests of the city.
The project is being implemented with the support of the city's Akimat and the Miras University Science Centre. Free Wi-Fi will work around the clock and without traffic restrictions. In order to connect to the network, a simple registration with your phone number is required.
In the near future, it is planned to extend the coverage of Free Wi-Fi to other streets and squares in the city. The aim of the project is to create comfortable conditions for the development of digital infrastructure in the city of Shymkent.
